Tuesday September 26, 2017, ARREYB can now report the suspected arrest of Buea based artist, Bala 2K by forces of law and order at about 6:35pm.

We got information of his arrest followed by his manager, Mr. Blec Ace’s post on the issue.

His exact words:

“I was called by eyewitness who know me and my man(Bala 2K) that he was thrown in the police van at check point.

I went to the molyko police station, he was not there. I am on my way to the army barracks in Tiko”.

The incident has been so disturbing and the manager finds it hard communicating to his die-heart fans and worst of all his family members.

The initial cause of the arrest has not been figured out but Mr. Ace has gotten Bala’s lawyer to handle the entire issue.

Bala 2K’s line is switched off and many comments on social media have expressed worries about the issue.

This however comes few months after the release of his much celebrated video titled “Boko Haram”, a piece that portrayed a typical hazard some Africans experience under the harsh Tag #”Free The Innocent”

Bala made tears run down cheeks in his piece which was much anticipated by fans.

Bala 2k on “Boko Haram”

We therefore, as watchdog to the society call on the competent authorities to see to Bala’s case, considering his status as a peace artist and trained journalist who graduated some years ago from the University of Buea’s Journalism and Mass Communication Department.

Bala 2k deserves much more than a disgraceful arrest!!!
