Cameroon’s lone oil rifinary company, SONARA has temporarily suspended production in all units following an arson attack on Friday night 31st May 2019.
The management made the decision in a press release after an urgent crisis meeting which stated that flames broke out in the company at about 9:30pm and the company incurred material damages.
This also happens while all contract arrangements have been put on hold as reconstruction takes place.
