Kumba City Workers Strike Over Unpaid Salaries

Some council workers of the Kumba City Council stormed the premises at about 5:30am this Tuesday, September 19, closed the main gate to restrict access into the building.

According to reports the council owes them 8 months of unpaid salaries.

They equally placed placards on the gate with messages saying; “We and families are Hungry”, “Pay our 8 months Salary”, “No money no Work”, Our children need to go to School”.
