(ARREYB News Reports) Cameroon’s Minister of economy and planning, Louis Paul Motaze has on behalf of the government signed an agreement with the World bank to obtain a loan of FCFA 112.83 billion.
AllAfrica reports that the loan is aimed at building an inclusive growth and sustainable development by fostering education, health and to assist the poor.
The World Bank accorded the loan to Cameroon after its board of directors approved the request early last week (December 22) within the framework of the country’s budget program.
Minister Motaze has said they would ensure that the loan is used judiciously to meet its purpose
