Cameroon movie actor Epule Jeffrey Jeff has recently commented on the state of affairs in Cameroon.
He made a declaration in a Facebook post where he said YES to dialogue and a NO to violence.
He writes:
The feeling of citizenship is not to feel administered, where you feel more obligations and perpetual service to fatherland.
Unrequited one way traffic of giving to nationhood bleeds the stream of passionate patriotism speedily and most harshly!
Opinion is the ability to be humble enough to know that the other voice might be right!
#yestodialogue and #notovoilence
His post calling for dialogue precedes a heightened level of the struggle especially after October 1st that has led to some deaths and wanton arrests.
Epule had also condemned the epileptic state of internet in the Anglophone regions.
On September 30 Epule posted referring to the network as “unreliable” and “disgusting”
His call to dialogue however adds to many other Cameroonian celebrities who have added voices to that of the masses and called for peace talks.
