The General Manager of insurance company, Activa is expected at the National Refining Company, SONARA in Limbe today following a summons sent on July 12.
Among other things, he is expected to answer questions on the insurance contract linking his company to Sonara.
The summons also required that he should be accompanied by other officials that have any roles to play in the contract between Activa Cameroon and Sonara. It also demanded that they take along any documents related to the issue at hand.
The notice it should be recalled was sent to the insurance company just a few days after a report o the investigation of the devastating fire incident was handed to the Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute.
Media reports have since speculated that at the time of the fire, the refinery had not yet paid its insurance package.
