Bamenda: Suspected Separatist Attack Leaves HYSACAM Worker Injured

Samuel, a worker with HYSACAM, a waste management company in Bamenda is still in pains, after he was shot on the leg by allege separatist fighters

The incident occurred on Wednesday March 30, when they were on duty in Bamenda

According to reports, the gunmen stormed the area and opened fire on the vehicle, wounding Samuel on the leg

He was immediately ferried to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment

It is reported by eye witnesses who watched the incident from closed range that the gunmen accused the people for working with a “band” company in the region

Though the exact cause of Wednesday’s incident is still to be confirmed, separatist fighters have on several occasions warned HYSACAM for operating in the North West region
