Arrey Bate is the new brand ambassador for Tiko University

The founder of Arreyb Media, Arrey Bate has been appointed brand ambassador for the Life Trust Tiko University.

His appointment was made public recently in a press release signed by the Director of Tiko University, Paul Moki Nango.

“Bearing on the long term study and relationship towards the growth and achievement of your media and dedication to your works, considering the successful outcomes you have proven over time, you have been appointed as brand ambassador for Life Trust Tiko University,” a section of the appointment press release states

While acknowledging the fact that Arrey has been a remarkable and distinct person to the institution, the Director also said Arrey shall represent the university even at international levels

“Consequently, you shall represent all services of Life Trust Tiko United, showcase the worth and necessary of our products and services to the entire world,” another section of the press release added

Reacting upon his appointment, Arrey, who is an experienced internet entrepreneur and journalist said he is proud to start a new journey with the institution.

As an ex-student, he said it wasn’t an easy task for him to graduate from the school after facing several setbacks

“In 2014 I got into the university to study journalism and Mass communication and a course that will usually take others 3 years took me 5. One of those years I dropped out of school after being beaten on campus by the military during the strike. That’s how I began finding my feet to try and start something online,” Arrey said

He added that his appointment mean a lot because it shows how far the management of the institution trust him, despite the upheavals he had back then

“So becoming a brand ambassador for mainstream University means much more than a title for me. That’s me finding the fulfilment in saying we started here and now growing to this point. But most importantly, it’s me saying to anyone who’s going to read my stories and relate in any way– the goal has always been to get knowledge, invest in yourself and keep being consistent in whatever you’re doing,” he added

While adding that Tiko University offers 39+ courses in diverse programs, Arrey said his role will also include representing the organisation and using his experience to work closely with the director to improve the marketing of the University
