The regional delegate of Penitentiary administration for the North West region is no more.
Kiga Théodore and three other warders were reportedly ambushed by a group of separatists known as Bui Warriors on Tuesday April 12, 2022.
According to a video trending online the administrative officer and colleagues were on their way from Nkambe, where he recently commissioned the Superintendent of Nkambe prison.
In the said video, their corpses were seen besides a white Hilux vehicle, after they were victims of a local explosive.
This comes few weeks after the DO of Ekondo Titi subdivision in the South West region and the Mayor were also ambushed by the same armed men.
