US Embassy Condemns Recent Attacks on Civilians In Cameroon

The United States Embassy in Cameroon has frowned at disputed parties perpetrating violence in crisis regions of Cameroon.

According to a press release from the Embassy, scores of innocent civilians have died this new year as a result of the crisis in NW SW.

“We offer our deepest condolences to all those affected by attacks carried out in Mbegwi, which resulted in the death of Momo Div. Delegate of communication… others in the Far North, Matazem and Mautu in the South West region” a section of the release reads.

According to the release, innocent lives are being wasted everyday who ought to raise families and become flag bearers of communities.

As some Cameroonians keep questioning the importance of some of these organisations, some say they are just a toothless dog that can’t bite.

Cameroon government military and armed separatist fighters have however been blamed occasionally by individuals for letting violence escalate in the crisis regions.

Since the escalation of the crisis in 2016, at least a civilian, government military or separatist fighter is reported dead everyday in the crisis regions.
