Anglophone Crisis: About 40 Youths Arrested, Molested And Detained By Government Soldiers

In a bid to track down Ambazonian fighters, about 40 youths have been arrested, molested and forced to strip in public by government forces in Matoh, a village in Konye, Meme Division, South West region of Cameroon.

Reports say during a military raid carried out on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at about 2:0 AM, the youths were forcefully bundled out of their homes.

“Later in the day, they were forced to trek for more than three hours from Matoh to mile 12-Diongo,” a source revealed.

It is believed the arrested youths were carried to the military camp by military trucks. Several people were equally arrested in Mofako kindongi.

Families of the detained youths continue to demand for the urgent discharge of thier sons.
