Two persons have been reportedly shot to death on Tuesday January 17, 2023 in Nkwen, Bamenda, North West region of Cameroon.
Sources have it that a popular business man whose only name was gotten as Michael was killed alongside one other person at Mobile Nkwen.
Information gathered shows that Michael who owns one of the biggest shops at Mobile Nkwen, was abducted at about 6pm by gun men and later on his corpse was found in the quarter.
It remains unclear if the act was perpetrated by government military who have been on several occasions accused of kidnapping for ransoms
or gun men who are either separatist fighters or post as separatist fighters. Both incidents occurred in Bamenda III subdivision.
