There is growing fear of whether the President of the North West House of Chiefs is still alive or not.
Kidnapped on December 7, 2021 by Ambazonian fighters in his own village of Bambalang in Ngoketunjia division, Fon Yakum Kevin who doubles as President of the North West House of Chiefs is no where to be found.
Since his kidnapped, nothing has been said or heard about the traditional ruler.
It said that Fon Yakum Kevin went to his village for a traditional celebration. Separatist fighters surprisingly attacked his Palace, taking him to an unknown location.
The Fon is a graduate from the Cameroon National School of Administration and Magistracy.
The Fon has been very vocal in many instances as concerning the Anglophone crisis
In a voice message that circulated on social media after his kidnap, Ambazonian fighters said the Fon was going to join them to fight the Biya regime.
