The fighters who are reported to be led under the command of 'General No Pity' of Bambalang, carried out the attack in the early hours of Friday April 30

Ngalim is a small town in the West region of Cameroon

Over four government soldiers have been feared dead and several others seriously injured in an attack at Ngalim

The fighters who are reported to be led under the command of ‘General No Pity’ of Bambalang, carried out the attack in the early hours of Friday April 30

Ambazonia interim government’s media coordinator termed it “a counteroffensive”

He said they attacked the brigade because civilians were recently arrested by the government soldiers in the locality.

Guns, bullets, military uniforms, bulletproofs and other materials were seized, as some civilians were set free–the separatists claimed.

The government is yet to release their own account of the attack

This is not the first time separatist fighters from Bambalang have attacked the same brigade

Many people living in Ngoketunjia division have attested that “General No Pity” has been one of the most notorious leaders in the area
