A young man is presently in the hands of security officials in Bamenda, after he was picked up on Sunday May 1, 2022.
Abanda Herbert was arrested, after he was suspected of detonating a local explosive at Santa Park, few meters from the Bamenda Commercial avenue grandstand on Labour day
Sources said the suspect was arrested in possession of a remote control that he used in detonating the explosive.
Apart of few material damages, we are told no one was injured by the explosive
The attack, many believe, was aimed at destabilising Labour day celebrations in Bamenda
