A female primary school teacher,Che Rhoda is reported to have been shot on Tuesday, September 6 2022 in Ekona, South West region
Sources confirm that she was shot by separatist fighters on her way to school.
Che Rhoda was rushed to the hospital in a very critical condition. She is currently receiving medical attention.
This comes barely a day after school resumption in Cameroon.
This 2022/2023 academic year has been threatened by separatist fighters in the North West and South West regions.
Separatists are trying to impose 2 weeks lockdown in order to prevent school resumption in the anglophone regions.
