5 persons have been shot in Kumbo, a village in Bui Division by armed gun men as they sat to celebrate Christmas on December 25
The gun men stormed a local bar with loud music and discussions as locals sat to drink and celebrate, shooting five persons on the scene.
The men were accused of thwarting plans of separatist fighters by not observing “ghost town”, a stay-at-home restriction forcefully introduced by separatist fighters in the Ambazonia independence struggle
Of the five persons who were shot, two were reported dead while three others wounded by bullets are under severe medical conditions.
Since the Cameroon Anglophone crisis intensified in 2017, atleast 5,000 people have been killed.
Civilians are trapped in the middle of daily gun fights between the armed to the teeth government military and armed separatist camps with imported guns.
They’re either taken down in wars or accused and killed for collaborating with one of both camps
