Trump Supports Dr. Stella’s Claim That Hydroxychloroquine Treats Covid-19

For over 24 hours, US based Cameroonian doctor, Stella Immanuel has been trending on social media for making bold claims on Covid-19 treatment.

In a viral video, Stella said she used hydroxychloroquine to treat more than 350 patients suffering from the deadly disease who visited her hospital

“Nobody needs to get sick, this virus has a cure.” she said, adding that no one needs to wear protective masks – a contradicting statement to current scientific and media orthodoxy.

Stella got censored on twitter and facebook and the video including a retweet of President Donald Trump was taken down.

US president Donald Trump has come out today in a press briefing to support the Cameroonian US-based Doctor’s claim

“She was on-air, along with many other doctors. They were big fans of hydroxychloroquine.

I thought she was very impressive, she said that she’s had tremendous success with hundreds of different patients. I thought her voice was an important voice, but I know nothing about her.” Trump said in the press briefing.

Dr. Stella Immanuel comes from Cameroon’s Northwest region but is based in the US where she has been practising medicine for over a decade.
