In 2019, the UK and Cameroon traded deals worth £200m ( approximately 153 bln xaf), the UK announced on the gov website

On March 9, the UK announced that both parties have signed a partnership agreement to continue this trade

The deal was signed by International Trade Minister Ranil Jayawardena and High Commissioner of Cameroon to the UK, H.E. Albert Fotabong Njoteh in London

It allows British and Cameroonian businesses to continue to trade as freely as they do without any additional barriers

Cameroon supplies the UK with over 12% of its total exports of bananas every year
