These were the words of the minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji as he cheered a security meeting in Bamenda on January 18, 2021.
“I am pleased to tell all of you that President Paul Biya has won the war against terrorists and secessionists,” Atanga Nji said
According to Atanga Nji, just a few of separatist fighters are left and will soon be fished out.
The meeting took place at the North West governor’s office at up-station, as the minister applauded the efforts of security officials.
Cheering a meeting on a Monday, which is known as a ‘ghost town’ day in the region for years now, inhabitants say the rest of the city was locked apart from up-station .
