Alino Allen, a Cameroonian solicitor and writer has said he received his passport within 48 hours
Allen said it is real, that he got his passport “in 48 hours as promised and paid a total of 112,500 CFA, that’s 110,000 as passport fee, 2,500 CFA for stamp duty in certifying my ID card and birth certificate”
“Forget about connections” Allen wrote on Facebook, asking Cameroonians to visit the passport office themselves
“Go to some of those offices when you want to do your stuff”
News of the new passport office and fast biometric process have impressed Cameroonians who often struggled for new passports or to get renewals.
If this continues, then this will be great news for Cameroonian citizens.
