Covid-19 In Cameroon : Situation Updates As Of April 28

As of April 28, 2020, 1,705 Covid-19 cases have been reported in Cameroon, 805 recoveries and 58 deaths.

According to health minister, Cameroon has 70 oxygen extractors, 34 respirators, 27,000 extraction kits, 43,000 treatments, 100,000 masks, 3,000 thermoflashes.

Cameroon stands as one of the hardest hit countries in Sub-Saharan Africa after South Africa with 4,793 infections, 1,473 recovered and 90 deaths.

Other government-arranged plans are ongoing but Cameroonians are worried about their president.

On social media, they are increasingly demanding to hear him speak about the growing outbreak on the soil.

They want to see more concern, just like other presidents have done, sharing the pain in making daily video appearances.

Meanwhile, health minister, Manaouda Malachie has said he is meeting a Madagascan delegation this morning, in order to know more about their cure reportedly treating Coronavirus patients.
