Coronation Of King Charles III: Prime Minister Dion Ngute To Represent Head Of State

The head of government Joseph Dion Ngute will attend the coronation ceremony of King Charles III on behalf of the Head of State, President Paul Biya.

Paul Biya is one of the heads of states specially invited to the coronation ceremony of the new King of Great Britain, Charles III.

However, the president has decided that Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute will represent him for the coronation which is slated for May 6, 2023.

The ceremony will also see the contingent of 11 Cameroonian soldiers who will take part in the parade as communicated by the Ministry of Defense.

MINDEF also stated that the soldiers selected come from the gendarmerie, the army, the air force and the navy led by Major Foming Rodrigue Boris. They left the country on April 27, 2023.

It should be noted that the Cameroonian Defense Forces were invited to participate in the coronation parade thanks to the country’s membership in the Commonwealth of Nations, an organization of Great Britain and its former colonies.
