Cameroon International forward, Eric Maxim Choupo Moting, has extended his contract with Bayer Munich till June 2024
The former Paris Saint Germain man has netted 15 goals in a all competitions for the Bundesliga top flight club. He is enjoying the best-scoring season of his career.
Recently, he created a record of becoming the only player to score against all 18 Bundesliga clubs after netting against Union Berlin last weekend.
“I‘m super happy to be staying longer and continuing to have lots of fun with the club. I feel very much at home here. My family also feel at home in Munich” Choupo said.
“The whole package is right at FC Bayern. There’s no reason to change anything.” he added.
The 33 yearly old is unarguably one of Bundesliga’s revelations this season and one goal short of breaking his Bundesliga record of 10 goals he scored for Maize in the 2011/12 and 2013/14 seasons.
Choupo Moting joined Bayern in October 2020 and has gone on to record 33 goals in 82 appearances for the club, winning the Bundesliga and DFL super cup in 2021 and 2022 plus the FIFA Club World Cup.
