Elite Two: Victoria United Grabs Ticket To Elite One Championship

Following thier 2-0 victory over Aigle of Moungo in the MTN Elite Two Championship at the Limbe Centenary Stadium, Victoria United aka OPOPO has become the first elite two club to secure promotion to Elite One.

Two penalties converted beautifully by Djacba were enough for OPOPO to snatch all three points during match day 24 on Wednesday April 19.

Thier journey to top tier football in Cameroon is one of resistance, hardwork and discipline that has brought Elite One football once again to the South West after 8 years.

The Limbe-based football club have been outstanding, recording 13 wins
4 Draws, 5 defeats with a total of 33 goals scored and 11 conceded in 23 games played this season.

With one match left, Victoria United will now head on to face Stade FC Bertoua for match day 25.
