Atleast two persons are reported to have been shot to death in Balikumbat, a village in Ngoketunjia division of the North West Region
Locals said it was the government military. One of them said uniformed men stormed a funeral ceremony last Sunday shooting two persons to death; an old man and a young man in his twenties.
The young man, they said, was suspected of being a separatist fighter. The military claimed he was in possession of a rifle when they triggered at him
A few other people were arrested as the population was left to timidly carry out the funeral
