In a recent tweet, Cameroon’s President, Paul Biya said he has ordered the discontinuance of proceedings pending before Military tribunals, against 333 persons arrested for misdemeanors, in connection with the crisis in the North-West and South-West Regions.
This is a developing story and president Biya’s announcement comes barely a day to the end of the announced dialogue held in his absence.
A list of those to be freed is still expected !
Will these include detained journalists and leaders of the Anglophone struggle who were given a life sentence? (Sisiku and Co ? )
