Official: Biya Declares Day For National Dialogue

As preparations heighten up for a grand national dialogue to solve the Cameroon Anglophone crisis, President Paul Biya has set the official date for talks to be held.

On September 29, 2019, various stakeholders will convene for a national dialogue expected to lead to an end to the Cameroon Anglophone crisis which has rocked the North West and South West Regions for over 3 years.

The dialogue talks he said will last for a week, running from September 29 and 4 days into the month of October.

Biya is expected to officially announce the venue (country) where these talks will take place.
