The World Business Angels Investment Forum,WBAF, has announced its 43 new Senators and International Partners of the Grand Assembly
Sitting in as one of the two Cameroonians to be appointed as international partner is Buea-Based serial entrepreneur and investor Ambe Nickson Che, Founder and managing director of ANC Stock Investment Ltd
Also appointed is Paul Babila Bengyella, Founder of Africa Business and Investment Summit Cameroon.
The appointments of these partners at WBAF provides a wide range of opportunities for start-ups, innovators and high growth businesses, and opens doors for economic development.
Questioned on what it felt like to be one of the only two Cameroonians appointed partners for WBAF, Mr Ambe expressed happiness and also said he saw it as a task to forge ahead with the new responsibility
Recently, ANC Stock Investment Ltd introduced the ANC Startup Accelerator program
This objective to foster economic growth through the provision of early stage seed capital blended with WBAF’s vision for start-ups
Each year, the Accelerator program chooses 3 to 5 early stage companies to join an in-house mentorship program
The organisation invests in, and provides hands on training and access to its vast network
Registration is done on the company’s website and startups pitch their businesses in front of the ANC board of Investors to join the cohort of companies
Mr Ambe said WBAF’s agreements with major bodies like International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group (IFC), London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), International Science Parks Association(IASP), World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), World Association of Free & Economic Zones (FEMOZA) is going to be a huge network to leverage for Cameroonian growth
