These Military officers were caught stealing goats
It happened in Mbam and Inoubou Division in the Central region where goats had often disappeared
According to reports, a team of villagers decided to set a trap, they tied one of the goats in a bush and left it hungry so it would bleat and cry for food and water
The intention was to have the thieves hear its noise and turn up for their normal routine – to steal
That’s how they hid themselves and caught the men in uniform
Ironically, military personnel who swear an aoth to protect citizens and their property, were identified as thieves of the very stuffs they should protect
It’s the same military government officials have always bragged about and termed them as “professionals”
In a similar story last week, two military men teamed up with a civilian to rob a shop in Limbe, no one was hurt, but the thieves fired a shot in the air before leaving
They were caught by surveillance cameras and authorities said they were being sanctioned
