Abdoulaye Babale, ELECAM head has restricted members of his staff from Social Media postings related to ELECAM affairs.
The boss has cautioned the staff on the need to keep the institution’s information and decisions at a private level till there is a need to get to the public through the public relations department or press releases duely signed.
His official issue to all Chiefs of Service and Departmental Heads reads:
“With the exception of official press releases duly signed by the hierarchy,’ no Elecam document should be seen on Social Media”, reports Henrietta’s Lounge
Mr. Abdoulaye has promised severe sanctions to defaulters as this has in the past years been a major means to expose internal documents.
