Covid-19 In Cameroon : Situation Updates As Of April 24

As of April 24, 2020 1,430 cases have been reported in Cameroon. 692 active cases, 120 hospitalised, 20 on respiratory assistance, 668 recoveries and 43 deaths

On Thursday, April 23, Koutaba recorded its first case. He was a 65 year old man, the SDO said, adding that he is a resident of Mataba neighborhood not far from the urban center.

The North West region also recorded its second case in Bamenda

“The said case is one of ten members of a family who arrived Bamenda from Douala in a Moghamo 70 seater bus matriculated NW 960BC on April 17th” – part of the press release wrote

Before the second, the region registered its first case on Monday, confirmed by governor Adolph Lele l’Afrique

Other government-arranged plans are ongoing but Cameroonians are worried about their president.
