24 year old Cameroonian and Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper Andre Onana has funded a project to provide electricity to his entire village in Mengueme subdivision, Centre région.
Kmersport237 earlier reported that on August 01, 2020, Onana aired the projects in his village during his recent stop over in Cameroon.
Ossoessam, his mother’s village, is located some 12 kilometres from Mengueme, in the Nyong_et_So’o Division, of center, Cameroon.
The village is less developed and the inhabitants encounter difficulties in accessing electricity, bad roads during the rainy season and poor medical facilities
Onana’s fans have applauded his good gesture as the entire Essoessam population can now enjoy electricity supply, abandoning bush lamps and generators they previously used.
Andre Onana has showed great qualities both on and off the pitch, keeping a calm head.
During his recent visit to Cameroon, he and former Arsenal Midfielder, Alexander Song, played football together with amateur players in a holiday championship that took place at Vogt in yaounde.
Onana is currently one the most solicited Goalkeeper by top clubs in Europe.
