A group suspected to be Boko Haram militants has brought down a post of the military force to fight Boko Haram in Gloudjan in the North of Cameroon. The attack which took place Monday 24 July came unexpected.
The military as of now has confirmed that two soldiers were badly injured; a lieutenant and a second class soldier, CNA reports.
The post is situated at the Gloudjan locality in the Mayo Sava division, Far North region of Cameroon.
The terrorists also destroyed some local facilities, crops and foodstuff intended to feed the defending soldiers.
The affected soldiers were rushed to neighboring Mora for treatment while the area has been remilitarized pending any further attacks.
This incident comes few days after the recent attack on Dabanga where a bomb explosion killed two persons and injured many others.
