Ugandan magistrate, Musa Semwogerere has been found guilty by a Ugandan court and detained for impersonating.
Musa Semwogerere, was removed from the examination room at the Law Development Centre (LDC) Lira in Uganda after dressing as a woman to take a law exam for his fiancée, Irene Mutonyi.
According to reports, Musa Semwogerere was appointed by the Judicial Service Commission to the post of grade one magistrate more than two weeks prior to this act.
The magistrate is being held in custody until August 3, 2023 after being charged with two counts of forgery. The director of LDC stated that the magistrate’s acts violates Section 351 of the Penal Code and Section 381 of the Penal Code Act for Impersonation.
