Two head teachers of government primary schools in Mbessa, Boyo Division in the North West region have been killed for influencing school resumption.
The two victims were allegedly attacked by separatists fighters on Sunday, September 3.
Information gathered says, they had just returned from a head teachers meeting in preparation for the new school year on Saturday, 2, in Kom, another village in the same Division.
The 2023-2024 new school year started this Monday, September 4, 2023, but Cameroon’s two English-speaking regions still face the certainty of back to school.
