Thousands of diehard fans and supporters of the Indomitable Lions have been blocked out of the Olembe stadium.
In anger and fear of not losing the match on the screens, many have returned home after standing by the gate for hours.
Spotted with trumpets, flags and in the Indomitable Lions fan attire, many of them expressed dissatisfaction with the organizing body.
Even some people with the possession of the match tickets were not allowed into the field.
“This is my ticket and my covid-19 vaccine card, but we are blocked out side for no reason,” one supporter said in frustration.
According to them, no reason has been brought forth for keeping them out of the stadium.
We are told that all taxis and motorbikes were restricted from going towards the stadium (Olembe)
This is the first official match taking place at the 1st newly constructed Olembe stadium.
