Guinea: Three Doctors Convicted For The Rape And Feath Of A Patient In A Hospital



A Guinean court has found three doctors guilty of the death of a young woman who was raped in hospital.

In 2021, BBC reported that the Guinean government had stated that a female by name M’Mah Sylla passed away in Tunisia where she was removed for treatment after being raped in a hospital by three doctors.

Following the aggravation of the case in Guinean, the justice system opened investigations.

After careful research, the Conakry Court has sentenced doctor Daniel and Patrice Lamah to 15 years in prison while the third doctor, Célestin Millimouna who is on the run is to serve 20 years in prison.

The were all found guilty by the court for sexual assault and performing an abortion.
