Anglophone Cameroon: Minister Fame Ndongo Cancels University Re-opening In October- Schools To Resume Only In November

Cameroon’s Minister of Higher Education Prof Jacques Fame Ndongo has cancelled university re-opening this academic year in Anglophone Cameroons scheduled for October.

He says schools would only begin in November.

The minister was speaking in an interview on ‘Cameroon Tribune yesterday when he officially announced that the universities of Buea and Bamenda will not be opening its doors this October like other Cameroon universities.

This is as a result of the instability plaguing the two English speaking regions.

Fame Ndongo also called on parents to see the need of education and prepare to send their kids back to school come November.
