Morethan 600 people have died in Morocco after a 6.8 magnitude earthquake occured on Friday 8 September.
Casualties were recorded in the regions of Al-Haouz, Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Azilal, Chichaoua and Taroudant and a total of 329 people were injured, including 51 in critical condition.
According to Moroccan media, it is the deadliest earthquake ever recorded in the country.
Meantime, Morocco’s final AFCON qualifier against Liberia tonight could be postponed due to the earthquake.
CAF will give out a final decision on the issue.
