Among the 5 who lost their lives in the Ombe accident, authorities have confirmed the dead of one Anyi Eugene who was market master of the Muea market.
He, two brothers to Mayor Ekema, Mayor of the Buea council and two other persons made a total of five who perished in the ghastly accident.
The Sunday April 15 tradegy occured when a Mercedes on high speed lost control on its way from Limbe and strayed across the Ombe bridge.
The very shocking pictures have gone viral on social media and authorities hurried to the scene confirming five dead, some of which died in the spot.
Ombe which is the village in between mile 4, Limbe and Mutengene has recorded several accidents at the same spot. The bridge has no protecting metals and is a loose end for possible accidents .
