About 4 persons have been killed after unidentified men attacked the PAMOL plantation PLC in Lobe, Ekondo-titi Subdivision, Ndian Division of the South West Region on Sunday, September 17, 2023.
In a video making rounds on the Internet last week, self-acclaimed Ambazonian General Focus, sent out strict warnings to PAMOL workers living in the estate.
The Ambazonia fighter ordered the workers to leave the camp because he intends to use it as his base.
“The two women were shot because their husbands who are the workers were not at home,” a source stated…“they shot them because they did not respect lockdown,” the source added.
Following a release on Monday, September 18, 2023, the management of PAMOL said stated the victims included, Foin Ernest, a heavy-duty mechanic, and his son Foin Marcel, Tiah Rita and Sakwe Olga wives of a Lobe Mill worker and a retired Research employee respectively.
However, the PAMOL management said they are unaware of the reasons for the attack and killings.
The management called on the estate’s workforce to remain calm while hoping that firm security measures will be put in place within the its environment.
