Far North : Over 300 Houses Razed To Ashes



About 300 houses have been burned down
by Boko Haram insurgents in an attack in Zelevet and Krawa villages of the Far North region of Cameroon.

The attack which left 5 persons wounded, 2 kidnapped, 18 cows, 10 motor cycles and 500 small ruminants siezed took place at about 3:42 pm on Monday, April 17, 2023.



The two attacks were launched simultaneous in the two villages as two military outpost were burned down with several vehicles, weapons, ammunitions and military equipment confiscated.

Recently Boko Haram insurgents have intensified in the region following reports of the reintegration of former Boko Haram members.



The attack which has been described as the worse so far since the start of 2023 has left many civilians of the area in gross fear and insecurity.
