Douala: Judicial Police Arrest 2 Armed Robbers After 9 Million Theft Several Weeks Ago



Elements of the Bonanjo Judicial Police have arrested two gang members who ambushed a customer in a shop in Marché Congo, Douala, on May 24, 2023.

The two thieves attacked the client and the shopkeeper with knives before stealing the sum of 9 Million xaf alongside expensive phones as captured by security cameras.



The Commissioner of Police, Essono Edou Arsène, Chief of the Crime and Investigation Unit at the Douala Judicial Police said “We received firm instructions from the Littoral Regional Delegate for National Security to open an investigation and make sure the criminals are arrested. Days after the incident, we laid hands on two of them. Investigations are still ongoing to arrest other suspects. “

The two suspects by name Tchameni Ngalani aged 22 years and 23 year-old Djami Junior were presented to the public including four alleged drug traffickers
