For weeks now, an electric pole that fell at the parking lot of the Douala International Airport has not been disposed.
According to Mimi Mefo, several airport users showed dissatisfaction with the situation.
“This is the Douala International Airport parking lot and here is the aluminum pillar supporting the parking security lights ,” An airport user said .
Reports say four months ago, the electric pole was changed but hasn’t been sufficient as the said pole is now supported by wooden objects which poses a risk to those who pass by.
Another recounted that “When the wood that supports it will eventually collapse and kill Cameroonians, that’s where we will see ministers coming for missions.”
