Few minutes ago, our sources confirmed the loss of Bishop Marie Benoit Balla of the diocese of Bafia. His car parked close to the river contained his documents and other identification materials. Also attached to the documents was a note written “Je suis dans L’eau” translated in English, I am in water. The tragedy captured many onlookers who till now have not recovered from the shock.
At the moment of this report, the initial reason for his act had not been figured out. His body was yet to be discovered while investigation on the issue continued.
