The remain of the bike rider was removed from the Bamenda Regional Hospital Mortuary this Saturday morning April 22, after which the bikers gathered at the Hospital Roundabout as they prepared to transport his body to Momo Division.

His colleagues have taken it upon themselves to display around town. It is disheartening how he had to die this way,” a resident said.

It is believed that a police truck knocked and killed the biker with a woman he was carrying around Fish Pond Hill, Bamenda.

Thier deaths caused a mass protest in Bamenda.

The angry bikers headed to the Governor’s offices where they described the accident as a “deliberate act,” decrying that it was not the first time such was happening.

The deceased biker is a native from Batibo, Momo Division, just few miles away from the town of Bamenda.
