Even when we thought the saga of dead bodies dumped around had ended, another case was discovered yesterday 18 July at Long Street Buea, capital of the South west region of Cameroon.
The incident that occurred at about 10pm reports say was alarmed by a young man’s shout.
He had seen a taxi drop the corpse and kicked off with high speed. His attempts to shout could only attract a few who arrived the scene late.
The body of the young lady had been desperately thrown into the nearby bush.
Bambot Revolutional Blogger published that the Quarter Head signaled the law enforcement officials who came to the scene but refused touching the corpse pending the arrival of the Divisional Officer. The police noted that she is probably in her mid 30s.
This scene adds to the many of such corpse dumped in the South West Region in the past few weeks. Three days ago it was Limbe where the Atlantic helplessly revealed a mans corpse to the shores. Few weeks ago, same Buea witnessed the murder of one Ekale Adele, reportedly murdered by her boyfriend and dumped in like manner.
Hans are crossed as the town of Legendary hospitality; Buea mourns the deceased while the police begins their usual investigation.
