Cabral Libii, president of the Cameroon Party for National Reconciliation has suspended a member of his party over an apology to opposition leader Maurice Kamto.
Joseph Beyong, a press release said, has been suspended for apologizing to Maurice Kamto, president of the MRC who called on other political parties to boycott the recent regional elections in Cameroon.
The apology came after the CPRN lost all seats in the regional elections, something Beyond got irritated about.
According to Beyong, all political parties should have listened to Kamto’s call for a boycott, because the regional elections all favored the ruling CPDM party of president Paul Biya
Libii said Beyong is suspended from everything that concerns the party until further notice
