Breaking: Biya Orders Discontinuance Of Trail Against 333 Persons Arrested In Connection To Anglophone Crisis

In a recent tweet, Cameroon’s ‪President, Paul Biya said he has ordered the discontinuance of proceedings pending before Military tribunals, against 333 persons arrested for misdemeanors, in connection with the crisis in the North-West and South-West Regions.‬

This is a developing story and president Biya’s announcement comes barely a day to the end of the announced dialogue held in his absence.

A list of those to be freed is still expected !

Will these include detained journalists and leaders of the Anglophone struggle who were given a life sentence? (Sisiku and Co ? )
